Why has the server for Battlefield 2 Modern Combat for Ps2 down for a week now?

Everytime i try to go play on a map, alittle window pops up and says Battlefield Server down.Why has the server for Battlefield 2 Modern Combat for Ps2 down for a week now?

Our servers are currently down. Our engineers are aware of this issue and

are working on a resolution. Regretfully I do not have an ETA on when the

servers will be up.

I got the same problem, i wish i can play i was just reaching 5 star on one of my accounts to:( but everytime i go to play there are only like 4 people in a game and i dont understand that, possibly hackers? please Ea can you get on game back up and running?

I get the same error problem... it sucks big time! you see all the maps but you can't connect? also there seems to be one else online anymore? is this online game dead? I miss playing this game online...Why has the server for Battlefield 2 Modern Combat for Ps2 down for a week now?

they have done the same as they did with timesplitters the servers have been shut down and will not be back
