Hey all I just installed battlefield 2 and i have a vista and i wont start any help?

I installed battlefield 2 and i have a vista laptop and when i try to run it. The game starts up and then it goes to a black screen and then it like just jumps back to desktop and nothing happens. Ive tried clicking properties and setting it to "Run as Administrator" but it still does the same thing. Remove vista.

and use XP or the crappy ubuntu for poor people.

Check you laptop's graphics card and make sure it works with DirectX 8.1 or 9.

Did you bother to read the requirements on the game box and compare it to your pc before you bought it?
That's an easy one.Your'e video card is not compatible with your game.New games such as Battlefield 2, COD World at War, etc. need high end video cards with certan specs.Laptops built for gaming have video cards such as 9600GT, etc. that can handle these high graphic games.

To run your' game your laptop MUST have one of these supported video cards and are listed below:

Can you run it?

Choose BF2.

Now, if you pass, update all your drivers.

Then, right click, into properties, set it to run in comp. as XP SP2.

Should be able to fix.
