Guys and peeps,
I have been playing battlefield since it came out and I am very good at shooting games. But the problem I face is maps. Is it compulsory to learn the full map. I have no issues with my kill-death ratio so far but some people told me to memorize the entire map as that would help me improve my game a lot.
Some tips needed for the maps in battlefield 3. How do you learn maps and what do you learn in those maps?

Hope you are doing fine. You are facing problem with maps which is a common issue. There are guides on how to learn maps. The one guide that I followed was by Relik. I am a big fan of him after I read his guide. He made it very simple and forward and helped me solve this problem. You can check out his guide here :

Not sure if the entire maps are playable in singleplayer but try to move through most of the map when it begins and pay attention to the type of cover and how much cover it gives and do the same for the other team. Just stick to cover and move when clear. After you have ran around the entire map a few times you will get it. Hope this helpsHow to learn about maps in battlefield 3?
Just learn the section of each map that ate Importand like near objectives high traffic areas sniper spots flank routs vehicle spawns and routs ext.
just do that there are two some what confusing maps just for making a wrong tub and being at a dead end for me its grand bazaar and sien crossing

What version does Battlefield 2 come installed with?

I've been thinking about trading in my BattleField 2 Complete Edition PC Game i never used it and just bought it about 10 months. Battlefield 3's single-player campaign is pretty much a copycat of Modern Warfare. The multiplayer components, on the other hand, is a different story altogether.
The Battlefield series has never been known for its single-player game, if any. Nobody knows why they made it such a big deal.

What should I get MW2 map packs or battlefield bad company 2?

Bad Company 2, definately.
Once you play a single game of it, you will never, ever want to play Modern Warfare 2 again. The only way you would want to play again is if you lack the skill to play Bad Company 2.
The bullets actually take time to travel. Everything (Including rockets and bullets) drop with gravity. The maps are huge. The grenade launchers don't kill everyone within 50 feet. It is mainly used for destroying buildings and objectives. You can't knife from 15+ feet. You have to be right next to the enemy, so it actually takes skill. Only one weapon is overpowered. You actually feel like you're in a war because the objectives move along the map as they are destroyed.
Trust me I have both games and the DLC map packs for mw2, I like both games equally and would recommend you getting BFBC2 as it is a GREAT game and will give you way more enjoyment, and play time then just getting mw2 map packs. Dont' get me wrong the map packs are good but only about half of the maps are worth buying and they are all in different map packs and most of them are from Cod:4 (lol) And it isnt like you are missing out on much, you can get those at a different time as they are a lot cheaper. But if you want more enjoyment and longer playtime get BFBC2 not the map packs.What should I get MW2 map packs or battlefield bad company 2?

Several months ago there was a lot of chatter about bringing CIA operatives up on charges for their actions during the prosecution of the Iraq war - then there was talk about charging their legal counsel as well.
There is a vindictive spirit among some of the far-left, they want to charge Bush and Cheney with war-crimes and purge the CIA. Assuming that everyone else in the world is innocent and that America is "The Great Satan", this is probably not a bad idea - but as Obama is now finding out with his problems in Afghanistan, the world is not such a friendly place and sometimes, in the interest of our own national security, America has to act in some nasty ways.
This trial is about that vindictiveness. There is no way to have a "fair trial" in civilian court by definition. The President himself, along with the Attorney General, have come out and publicly declared that KSM will be found guilty and possibly executed. Any lawyer worth his degree would be able to have this case thrown out on that prejudicial statement alone. KSM was arrested by the military - he was not mirandized, he was "Aggressively Interrogated" without benefit of counsel, and the evidence against him is largely the result of covert operations and vital to our war on terroism.
No, this trial is meant to expose our interrogation means, to throw the United States' detainment policy and prosecution of the war onto the mercy of the World Court. The ultimate apology.
John Gotti just got off for the fourth time. OJ Simpson was released, and Mark Fuhrman was forever branded as a racist as the result of that trial. Lance Ito, Johnny Cochrane, Robert Shapiro all got rich. The judge and jury from the Gotti trial were in danger for their lives, as will the judge and jury for the KSM trial also be. Terrorists and fundamentalist sympathizers live among us - they are not afraid to die for their cause and when they do, they like to take as many innocent people out with them.
Do not fool yourself into believing this has anything whatsoever to do with KSM or the war on terror. Follow the money, follow the ideology, follow the power. The truth is nowhere in there to be found.
Why try them at all? If they're fighting on their own turf they should be considered POWs. If US forces are involved in supporting one of the puppet governments we set up on other people's turf that 'government' should deal with any prisoners, not us. How can it possibly be a crime to fight invaders after your official army is rendered useless? I'm sure that we would do the same thing. If a private organization sees fit to attack Americans here that's a different story. These bums are criminals, who have committed the crime of murder. Of course they should be tried in a civilian court. The same goes for any criminal anywhere that's killed or attacked Americans. Those people captured in a foreign country should be brought to the US and tried in our federal courts, or turned over to the country where the crime was committed. The Israelis used to hunt down these kind of people and assassinate them. There are extenuating circumstances involved with these cases. The Military may need to prove that they upheld the Universal Human rights even available t persons during a time of war. Even when a President provides misleading counsel, it is the American citizens responsibility to correct it, and reject it.
I do think an appropriate review belongs to the Military--I think they should handle the Prosecution.
If they are found guilty in a Court of Law for the murders on 9-11; they could get either the death sentence minus 20 years for being exposed to waterboarding or something related. I am not familiar enough with the Military Court system to comment further, although I am looking forward to what they have to say.

also ask a commander to do a scan and he might tell u where the enemies are. Always stay with medics, that way u will be able to stay in longer

The closed beta started today and I couldn't access it because ORIGIN EA is **** and won't let me pre-order the game; but that's not the point. The point is that I know there is an open beta on the 11th of september, and I don't know how to get into it. Dice hasn't given an exact date for the open beta. All we know at this point is that the release of the beta is somewhere in September. People who bought MoH limited edition or pre-ordered Battlefield 3 get access to the beta 48 hours earlier than everybody else.
There are more and more rumours that the Beta would start the 27th for MoH/preorders and 29th for everyone, but this hasn't been confirmed by DICE.
When the Beta is out you will be able to just download it. (from their site for PC, from XBL marketplace or from PSN Store)

Dice hasn't given an exact date for the open beta. All we know at this point is that the release of the beta is somewhere in September. People who bought MoH limited edition or pre-ordered Battlefield 3 get access to the beta 48 hours earlier than everybody else.
There are more and more rumours that the Beta would start the 27th for MoH/preorders and 29th for everyone, but this hasn't been confirmed by DICE.
When the Beta is out you will be able to just download it. (from their site for PC, from XBL marketplace or from PSN Store)

I finished downloading the demo version of Battlefield 2 and when I try to start up the program the screen turns black for 1-2 seconds and then it shows my desktop wallpaper and nothing happens. What is the cheapest a self-built desktop rig capable of running Battlefield 3 would cost?
Thinking of possibly buying parts for a desktop rig to run Battlefield 3 smoothly, or even just Bad Company 2 smoothly. Problem is, I'm really tight on funds, and hoping that a $500 - $600 budget would suffice. What is the average lowest price that a BF3-capable computer would cost? They're pretty similar actually. As you rank up in Battlefield 2, you are able to unlock one new weapon for each class of your choosing per rank. The system is a lot less complex then 2142 as you are only able to unlock primary weapons while in 2142 you are able to unlock new primary weapons, grenades, weapon attachments, player abilities, and so forth. What tips you have to play a BATTLEFIELD 3?

I am sure some of my friends are expert in battlefield 3. Share with me , your tips and success stories while playing battlefield 3.What tips you have to play a BATTLEFIELD 3?
DICE own advice:
- Stick to your team mates, and remember to spawn on them to stay close to the fight.
- Use your kit specific abilities to help your team mates. Assault can hand out med kits, Engineers can repair vehicles, and Support can hand out ammo.
- Make sure when you have armed an M-COM station, that you defend it to make sure it is destroyed.
- The bombed-out tunnel section in Operation M茅tro is an excellent place to use a flashlight as one of your weapon attachments. Use it to light the tunnels up 鈥?and to blind your enemies.
- Attach bipods to your weapon and deploy it automatically by pushing up against cover or going prone and zooming in 鈥?this gives you a huge increase in accuracy and stability.
- Use suppressive shooting (fire close to enemies behind cover) to negatively effect the enemy鈥檚 fighting capabilities.
- Watch out for falling debris as this can hurt you. But you can also hurt your enemies by taking out buildings with the Engineer鈥檚 RPG.
- Shotguns are excellent for CQC (Close Quarters Combat) in the tighter tunnels sections.
- Fire automatic weapons in short bursts for accuracy, or switch to single fire mode if applicable.
- To grab your enemy鈥檚 dog tag as a souvenir, do a stealth knife kill from behind.
You need to know:
if you want to go all rambo, pick up an light machine gun with an bipod.
The bipod highly increases the accuracy and minimize the recoil ( the kick upwards when your firing an automatic weapon )
A foregrip on a light machine gun would do almost nothing ( in my gaming source )

another way to level up fast and help out the team is being a mobile spawn point, stay back from the battle but stay within a decent distance to run to it, this helps your teammates by letting them get to the battle fast instead of spawning at people that are fighting and getting killed by a stray bullet, or getting stuck with running forever and hoping to get to a bomb before it detonates.
In my experience its a good idea to gun juggle (pick up every gun you see) til you find one you feel comfortable with then build a class around that gun, this is a good option on every FPS, it also gives you a goal to get to if you arent far enough in the level system to get that gun, which is always a good motivator.
and the #1 tip i can give you is dont get mad at the game, that just makes you make rash decisions and get even madder when they dont work. take your time, get your grips on the game, and have fun. =] hope this helps

DICE own advice:
- Stick to your team mates, and remember to spawn on them to stay close to the fight.
- Use your kit specific abilities to help your team mates. Assault can hand out med kits, Engineers can repair vehicles, and Support can hand out ammo.
- Make sure when you have armed an M-COM station, that you defend it to make sure it is destroyed.
- The bombed-out tunnel section in Operation M茅tro is an excellent place to use a flashlight as one of your weapon attachments. Use it to light the tunnels up 鈥?and to blind your enemies.
- Attach bipods to your weapon and deploy it automatically by pushing up against cover or going prone and zooming in 鈥?this gives you a huge increase in accuracy and stability.
- Use suppressive shooting (fire close to enemies behind cover) to negatively effect the enemy鈥檚 fighting capabilities.
- Watch out for falling debris as this can hurt you. But you can also hurt your enemies by taking out buildings with the Engineer鈥檚 RPG.
- Shotguns are excellent for CQC (Close Quarters Combat) in the tighter tunnels sections.
- Fire automatic weapons in short bursts for accuracy, or switch to single fire mode if applicable.
- To grab your enemy鈥檚 dog tag as a souvenir, do a stealth knife kill from behind.
You need to know:
if you want to go all rambo, pick up an light machine gun with an bipod.
The bipod highly increases the accuracy and minimize the recoil ( the kick upwards when your firing an automatic weapon )
A foregrip on a light machine gun would do almost nothing ( in my gaming source )

I'm thinking about getting Battlefield 2 : Complete Collection and I'm wondering if you could use all the expansion packs in one game. I know equality is equality, and if they want to defend their country it's their right as citizens. But I personally find the idea of women being deployed on the battlefield and being killed, maimed and blown to pieces a bit disturbing, I don't want to see women die.

There are several entirely practical reasons why women in combat positions (and indeed, in the military at all) is a really bad idea.
Firstly there is the practical matter of what will happen to women POWs. Beyond the usual torture and mistreatment common in war, it is an absolute certainty that women prisoners will be raped. Repeatedly. Probably gang-raped the moment they're removed from the battlefield, and continuing in an unending horror of sexual abuse that -- if she's lucky -- will eventually result in her being raped and beaten to death.
Not that rape doesn't occur with male POWs, but most societies discourage homosexual behavior, so it's less common. Rape of female prisoners, on the other hand, is absolutely certain.
Secondly, there is the matter of military morale. The necessities of war require soldiers in peak physical condition who are highly aggressive, competitive, and trained to physically overpower the enemy. This is relatively easy to achieve with men, whose natural testosterone levels are over ten times that of women. Female soldiers cannot help but be handicapped by a natural lack of this chemical.
Consequently, a woman present among men will become the object of sexual attention. Given the competitive nature of the environment, fights over women are inevitable, leading to declining morale and efficiency in combat. The line soldier must be able to instinctively depend on his fellows, and this is impossible if there are feelings of mistrust because of competition for female attention.
Finally, there is the simple matter of procreation. Most Western cultures, having been relatively successful in warfare for the last century or so, fail to even consider this matter.
The fact is that sending women to combat is culturally suicidal.
Imagine a war that goes very, very badly. So badly that massive numbers of troops -- hundreds of thousands, or potentially millions -- are killed during the war.
If the soldiers are all men, those who survive can return home to procreate. If the post-war ratio of women to men is even as low as 10:1, the culture can still survive by allowing one man to procreate with ten women. The simple numbers are that one man can sire ten simultaneous babies with ease.
One man, ten women, ten babies.
The reverse is not true. If your military has gender parity (that is, 50% men and 50% woman), the post-war male:female ratio will be 1:1.

The math is therefore simple: to hedge against massive losses in a war, protect women at all costs. In terms of continuing your culture or species, women are astronomically more important than men.

Personally, I find war itself to be very disturbing, and I don't want to see ANY of our service men %26amp; women die. They are where they are to help protect our country. I never understood why intelligent people can find no other way to resolve their differences.
And in answer to your question, I fee the same about seeing women on the battlefield as I do about seeing men on the battlefield....neither are acceptable to me.

The fact is that human beings are more or less monogamous, that's how we've evolved. I highly doubt we'll ever see every man going with 10 women. The women would get jealous and assuming we're talking about average women and not 10 hot models here, the man would probably find himself only sleeping with one or two of the women, and eventually falling in love with just one of them.
In fact for population it would be better if women went aswell. After the world wars there were millions of women who never married due to a gender imbalance. If women went to war aswell, less men would die and there'd be no gender imbalance.

As a pacifist, I don't like seeing anyone on the battlefield.
There are several entirely practical reasons why women in combat positions (and indeed, in the military at all) is a really bad idea.
Firstly there is the practical matter of what will happen to women POWs. Beyond the usual torture and mistreatment common in war, it is an absolute certainty that women prisoners will be raped. Repeatedly. Probably gang-raped the moment they're removed from the battlefield, and continuing in an unending horror of sexual abuse that -- if she's lucky -- will eventually result in her being raped and beaten to death.
Not that rape doesn't occur with male POWs, but most societies discourage homosexual behavior, so it's less common. Rape of female prisoners, on the other hand, is absolutely certain.
Secondly, there is the matter of military morale. The necessities of war require soldiers in peak physical condition who are highly aggressive, competitive, and trained to physically overpower the enemy. This is relatively easy to achieve with men, whose natural testosterone levels are over ten times that of women. Female soldiers cannot help but be handicapped by a natural lack of this chemical.
Consequently, a woman present among men will become the object of sexual attention. Given the competitive nature of the environment, fights over women are inevitable, leading to declining morale and efficiency in combat. The line soldier must be able to instinctively depend on his fellows, and this is impossible if there are feelings of mistrust because of competition for female attention.
Finally, there is the simple matter of procreation. Most Western cultures, having been relatively successful in warfare for the last century or so, fail to even consider this matter.
The fact is that sending women to combat is culturally suicidal.
Imagine a war that goes very, very badly. So badly that massive numbers of troops -- hundreds of thousands, or potentially millions -- are killed during the war.
If the soldiers are all men, those who survive can return home to procreate. If the post-war ratio of women to men is even as low as 10:1, the culture can still survive by allowing one man to procreate with ten women. The simple numbers are that one man can sire ten simultaneous babies with ease.
One man, ten women, ten babies.
The reverse is not true. If your military has gender parity (that is, 50% men and 50% woman), the post-war male:female ratio will be 1:1.
One man, one woman, one baby.
The math is therefore simple: to hedge against massive losses in a war, protect women at all costs. In terms of continuing your culture or species, women are astronomically more important than men.

Not all battles are fought on the battle field. I find the idea of collateral damage disturbing. Women and children are routinely killed during a war effort. Are they hero's? Most males I know, personally, seem to believe that being killed or maimed in a war effort will give them increased status. A "hero". Women choose to participate in conflict for different reasons than males. However, war is a male thing, strongly associated with ego and power. So guys, go for it.

In the Roman Civil War, the two armies of Pompey and Julius Caesar knew each other well, had often fought side by side against Rome's enemies,so there was a lot of unofficial fraternizing between the lines.That didn't stop them from fighting hard and killing each other once the battle started.
That same tendency was seen in the American Civil War as well. Of course it's easier to see your "enemy" as a friend if he speaks your language and is part of your culture. How play battlefield 3 and more precisely how not to get killed?
I know it's a silly question, but recently killed me 10 times but I managed only one hit.
I managed to get some flags, and several assists.
Are there any tips for beginners?
And one more question how to fly airplanes, I learned that I'm rather bad pilot, though it turned out that I'm not a bad shooter, I managed to kill several enemies with the gun mounted in the helicopter.

the key to bf3 is team work, get a good clan. im not telling you mine because it sounds like you suck, so join someone elses clan.
first, pick a class and stick with it.
each class plays distinctly differently, if your a medic, be a medic, drop med kits everywhere you go, unlock the paddles and never leave spawn without them. the weapons here are not great so its more about supporting your team mates rather then running out alone like in cod.
engineers need to play a bit more riskily, if its your job to take out the tank, get out there and take it out, take a look at your guns, shot guns, sub machine guns, shorter less accurate assult rifles, this is the more close quarters class, consider the flashlight or laser. use the holographic or red dot but NOT the scope. don't worry about scopeing in all the time, its fine to blast from the hip. but you also have the repair kit, if you in a helicopter, sit in the side seat and repair it as it gets shot. remember, with your repair kit its more about supporting your team mates rather then running out alone like in cod.
snipers are ranged specialists, don't forget to press "back" on your controller to spot tanks, jets, jeeps, helicopters and every enemy you see. a head shot will kill but there is no point in revealing your poession just to suppress one guy, get on the mic and tell your team mates where he is and where he is going, but its all about range, keep some space between you and your targets, your job is to spot and shoot from a distance so thats how you support your team mates rather then running out alone like in cod.
lastly is support, i hope you get the message, they have the most powerful guns so you might be tempted to run out alone, don't. you have the all important ammo box, medics, snipers and especially engineers will all run out of ammo as long as you can keep alive long enough to use it. you have a powerful gun but you are also slower, louder and easier to spot then the medic or recon, its all in the name your there to support your team mates rather then running out alone like in cod.
if you run out alone like in cod, you, and your team, will die and fail. use teamwork and commutation adn you will kill everyone.
its possible to level up to about level 7 in a week barely shooting anyone. just team work, team work, team work. if you can't join a clan and you don't have a mic and the team is not playing as a team there is still something you can do, try and join the player in 1st's squad, if he is 40 and 15, then he will need a revive, if he is 40 and 1 he will need ammo, if he is 40 and 1 and a support, he will need a spotter.
also there's coop, but above all, support your team and don't run off alone like in cod, you will just get shot.
Half of everything here is wrong. You can tell he doesn't know much about BF3 because he calls the Recon kit "sniper", and says "pick a class and stick with it" when in fact everyone I know with a SPM (score per minute) over 500 (including myself) have at least 1 star in every kit.

1.-MOST IMPORTANT: the bigger problem is that i didnt see anybody i mean they are there but i dont see them.. but here are too tips for this
a) BACK BUTTTON (360) in ps3 or pc i dont know but SPOT that helps alot
b)theres a nightvision, get it and you will see how everything gets easier
2.-HEAD DOWN, DONT RUN,: i think in large maps battelield its boring if you always twice before cross the street but thats what you have to do....
3.-TEAMWORK without clan or headset its hard but doesn matter that not full teamwork you can have teamwork if you have strategize if you are a sniper stay alife so you team respawn if your assault revive and heal you squad and dont rush, engineer? dont let vehicles had "hurt bad" you team and support well... support
always remeber be pacient everyones gets desesperate when lose often but last two tips

And one more question how to fly airplanes, I learned that I'm rather bad pilot, though it turned out that I'm not a bad shooter, I managed to kill several enemies with the gun mounted in the helicopter.

the key to bf3 is team work, get a good clan. im not telling you mine because it sounds like you suck, so join someone elses clan.
first, pick a class and stick with it.
each class plays distinctly differently, if your a medic, be a medic, drop med kits everywhere you go, unlock the paddles and never leave spawn without them. the weapons here are not great so its more about supporting your team mates rather then running out alone like in cod.
engineers need to play a bit more riskily, if its your job to take out the tank, get out there and take it out, take a look at your guns, shot guns, sub machine guns, shorter less accurate assult rifles, this is the more close quarters class, consider the flashlight or laser. use the holographic or red dot but NOT the scope. don't worry about scopeing in all the time, its fine to blast from the hip. but you also have the repair kit, if you in a helicopter, sit in the side seat and repair it as it gets shot. remember, with your repair kit its more about supporting your team mates rather then running out alone like in cod.
snipers are ranged specialists, don't forget to press "back" on your controller to spot tanks, jets, jeeps, helicopters and every enemy you see. a head shot will kill but there is no point in revealing your poession just to suppress one guy, get on the mic and tell your team mates where he is and where he is going, but its all about range, keep some space between you and your targets, your job is to spot and shoot from a distance so thats how you support your team mates rather then running out alone like in cod.
lastly is support, i hope you get the message, they have the most powerful guns so you might be tempted to run out alone, don't. you have the all important ammo box, medics, snipers and especially engineers will all run out of ammo as long as you can keep alive long enough to use it. you have a powerful gun but you are also slower, louder and easier to spot then the medic or recon, its all in the name your there to support your team mates rather then running out alone like in cod.
if you run out alone like in cod, you, and your team, will die and fail. use teamwork and commutation adn you will kill everyone.
its possible to level up to about level 7 in a week barely shooting anyone. just team work, team work, team work. if you can't join a clan and you don't have a mic and the team is not playing as a team there is still something you can do, try and join the player in 1st's squad, if he is 40 and 15, then he will need a revive, if he is 40 and 1 he will need ammo, if he is 40 and 1 and a support, he will need a spotter.
also there's coop, but above all, support your team and don't run off alone like in cod, you will just get shot.
Half of everything here is wrong. You can tell he doesn't know much about BF3 because he calls the Recon kit "sniper", and says "pick a class and stick with it" when in fact everyone I know with a SPM (score per minute) over 500 (including myself) have at least 1 star in every kit.
